Praying the Liturgy of the Hours

Secular Franciscans are encourage to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. However, that can be challenging, especially for beginners. Fortunately, there are helpful resources available. My favorite is the Liturgy of the Hours Bootcamp by Daria Sockey. The bootcamp is a series of several posts. All very helpful. Check them out.

Saint John XXIII - Secular Franciscan

Saint John XXIII was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. I have heard that statement several times. Today, I found an official document from the Holy See confirming it. There is one sentence in the official biography used for his canonization.
