A Formation Program for Franciscan Servant Leadership

I have been looking at the Handbook for Secular Franciscan Servant Leadership. It focuses on servant leadership inside of a fraternity.  I have put together a formation program that a fraternity could use over several months. Once the fraternity completes this course of study and reflection, it would be prepared to offer the entire program as a one day retreat for others, e.g., Catholics in nearby parishes.

Session 1: Christ as a leader
Activity: Fraternity members offer examples of Christ as leader. These examples are recorded for future use by the fraternity.

Session 2: Francis as a leader
Activity: Fraternity members offer examples of St. Francis as a leader. These examples are recorded for future use by the fraternity.

Session 3: Clare as a leader
Activity: Fraternity members offer examples of St. Clare as a leader. These examples are recorded for future use by the fraternity.

Session 4: Leadership Styles
Activity: Discuss session topic in the context of Christ, St. Francis, and St. Clare as leaders.

Session 5: Brainstorming
Activity: Discuss session topic in the context of Christ, St. Francis, and St. Clare as leaders.

Session 6: Communicatin
Activity: Discuss session topic in the context of Christ, St. Francis, and St. Clare as leaders.

Session 7: Listening

Session 8: Collaborative Problem Solving
